The day Teengames 09 was played. It was 3-on-3 basketball, and AG signed up 2 teams for the U18 basketball men's category.
Team Bendemeer 1: JH, Alwn, Alan, YL
Team Bendemeer 2: JL, WL, QY, James
Bendemeer 1 is in Group B, and Bendemeer 2 is in Group C. Each group has 6 teams where they compete against each other to get into the next round (on day 2). Only 3 teams will get the chance to get the cup, the other 3 will get the loser cup, which is the plate.
Team Bendemeer 1:
Round 1: Won all 5 games.
Round 2: Zero playtime. Heavy rain. Free throw contest after rain subsides. Won 1, lost 1.
Final: Never had the chance.
Reward(s):
Disappointment.
Team Bendemeer 2:
Round 1: Won 1, lost 3. 1 team from Group C walked over.
Round 2: Played 1 game. Won 3-2. Heavy rain. Free throw contest after rain subsides. Won 1, lost 1.
Final: Owned their foes, 15-7.
Reward(s):
A trophy, individual medals, jerseys and, happiness.
(The free throw contest is on a first to 15 basis, where one team has to make 15 baskets faster than the opponent's team. Lazy to elaborate.)
Moral of the story(s): The higher you aim, the harder you fall.
